Customers are mixed about the performance of the air gun. Some mention that it works well, while others say that it required a great deal of force to do that, which may damage the product. It takes a bit of hand strength to get the CO2 cartridge seated properly, and some are dissatisfied with the product for the price they paid. Fun to shoot
The gun is close enough in weight, at 30.8 oz, to feel like my 1911 .45ACP, which weighs 36.0 oz. unloaded. The clips/magazines are not realistic but they do function reliably. There is a detent on the clip/magazine which will hold the follower to allow you to load bb’s in the clip/magazine without having to fight the spring. I would recommend getting some extra clips/magazines so you can spend more time shooting before needing to reload the clip/magazine.The thumb safety has a button on it that must be pressed to disengage the safety. This is not realistic. Who puts a safety on the safety. The grip safety moves but does not function as a safety.Getting the CO2 cartridge seated and then out is a pain. I went through 3 CO2 cartridges before I developed the correct technique and did it right seating a cartridge. I would suggest practicing with a spent cartridge, if you blow it the first time like I did, to help develop the correct technique of getting the fresh cartridge seated. It takes a bit of hand strength to get the CO2 cartridge seated properly. It takes a little jiggling to get the spent cartridge out.I get around 90-100 bb's per CO2 cartridge, before the action will no longer cycle. You can still make shots but will need to cycle the slide manually. The slide does lock back after the last round in the clip/magazine is fired. The accuracy is ehh but is acceptable for me at distances under 30 feet. Over 30 feet the bb's tend to arch to the right. You can reuse the bb's if you use a trap that will not damage them. I have been using a cardboard box with 8 layers of terry washcloths at the back to stop the bb's. I shoot mine in the basement of my house and my wife says she can't hear it when I'm shooting. It makes less noise than a nail or staple gun so I feel ear protection is optional.I would recommend wearing eye protection since the bb's will sometimes bounce out of, or off, the box.Overall the gun was a good purchase for me and is a lot of fun to shoot.
