All the features of much larger models combined with state-of-the-art touch screen controls!

The Micro-Touch 1500, is just 3.25" wide by 5.375" long and 1.25" tall. This digital reloading scale has a full 1500 grain capacity and is accurate to within 1/10 of a grain. The Micro-touch 1500 also includes its own powder pan and 100-gram calibration weight.

The compact Micro-Touch 1500 electronic scale can be powered by either AAA batteries or the AC adapter, both included, so you can use it on your bench, at the range, in camp - or anywhere you need it. Touch-screen controls make the 1500 easy to use, and the readout can be set to grains or grams. A folding dust cover protects the top and the pan is designed so you can pour powder directly into a case.

Using the Micro-Touch 1500-Tips for Reliable Use

Set-Up

1. Select a location for the 1500 that is level and stable. It is recommended that the scale be located away from a loading bench equipped with a

reloading press. Most benches are not heavy enough to prevent vibrations being transferred to the scale. The scale should also be positioned away from any source of drafts, air currents, or temperature changes. The 1500 is sensitive enough to be affected by these conditions.

2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and connect it to the scale. The scale can also be run on three AAA batteries. To install the batteries, remove the cover on the bottom of the scale and install the batteries so that the negative ends are against the springs.

3. The scale is equipped with a clear plastic dust cover. The cover can be hinged back when the scale is in use. It is recommended that the cover be closed when the scale is not in use to protect the platform and load cell.

4. For the first use, it is recommended to turn on the scale and allow it to run for 24 hours. This will help it to stabilize to its surroundings.

Using the Micro-Touch 1500-Tips for Calibration

Calibration

1. It is recommended that the scale be calibrated before each use, or if the scale is moved or jarred in any way.

2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the scale.

3. Press the ZERO button to reset the scale to zero.

4. Press and hold down the ON/OFF button until the display shows “0” then release it. The scale will then flash 100.00. Place the supplied 100-gram calibration weight on the platform (the powder pan should not be on the scale).

5. The scale will now show 1543.2 gn on the display. Remove the 100-gram weight. The display will now show approximately 0.0 gn.

Great Scale at the Price!

Great Scale at the Price!
When I started reloading, I needed a scale "right now", so I had to buy a scale at the "smoke shop" (you know what they were weighing lol). The scale was $45 and weighed to the .01gr. Nice, right? Well, it just didn't work reliably. I had to tare every other charge, and found that when I reweighed my charges they were .5gr off or more! Anyway, my wife surprised me with this, and I wasn't super excited just because of my experiences AND the fact that this weighs only tenths. However, it turns out this scale is awesome! I don't need to weigh hundredths of grains, and it's unlikely you do, either. People who say they do should calm down, because differences in the way each granule of powder burns will cause more variance than a hundredth of a grain. This is a great scale. I've run 500 rounds on it the last two weeks. If you plug it in it stays on, it's easy to read, easy to calibrate, and I just don't think you can get a better scale for $60. Lyman's is a trusted name, and if their scale doesn't work it brings their load book into question as well. Use with confidence. This is a nice little scale
