    Great unit. Very sturdy, no play in the turret head (yet). Seems to be a very clean casting with good machine work. Good leverage so will probably have to be careful about forcing it. Did have to replace the back hole with a thru bolt rather than a 5/16" lag since this takes most of the load. Might want two bolt holes on the rear rather than just one, but not a big issue. Everything seems to fit well and work as planned: primer catcher, powder feed, press primer. Nice unit. Great having couple of dies and the powder measure all mounted and just rotate between. Working on .243 and .308 right now.

    This is a great set up. It has everything you need to get started other than dies for whatever your reloading. The manual is very helpful has all case and overall measurements you need. The scale works fine although it is a bit tricky once you get down to measuring .1 of a grain.

    Powder measure is unfailingly accurate and I had no issue dialing in a charge to within 0.1 grain. Threw 3 sets of 10 charges (30 charges total) and all three sets came up on the nose to what they should be. The other little things that come with this set (with one exception below) are perfectly adequate to their job and have no complaints.

    Big plus to this set up is the turret has room for 6 dies so if you use a 3 die kit for what your loading you can get 2 calibers set up at once. No need to readjust dies to switch calibers.

    My one and only complaint about this set up is the primer feed set up. Others have said how they get multiple primers or twisted primers. I had the same issues and found that all of it is due to the tube not being seated fully into the holder and/or the holder not being aligned to the primer arm properly. It is a pain, but it is workable.

    I load the tube with primers, set it aside. Take the tube holder off the turret, grab the loaded primer tub and make sure the tube fully seats to the bottom of the holder. Then I take that whole set up, line it up to the priming arm, tighten down the set screws, and it works with out a hitch. It took a bit of trial and error to find the sweet spot of primer tube and primer arm alignment, but now that I have done it a few times it's easy.

    Had the kit included everything shown in the ad I would have rated this as 5 star. The Amazon ad has a picture of the 'XP 1000' digital scale, and it lists that this scale is included. When the kit was delivered it had an XP 500 manual scale in it. According to 'Lyman', the product manufacturer, this kit only comes with the 'XP 500' manual scale. The digital scale was a major reason that I ordered this kit. You shouldn't have to verify ad contents prior to ordering.

    I got it 2 days,everything worked great,but the scale ,could not get it to zero out. Called lyman 3 times,but never have got a call back. The scale is the only bad thing in the kit, went on line and bought a RSBC 1010 scale

    This kit is outstanding.

    You really need to read all instructions very carefully, several times to familiarize yourself with the process of reloading before you even think about beginning to load your own ammunition. It really helps if you have a friend who knows what they are doing, but the manuals included do a great job of guiding you through the processes.

    The equipment here is excellent quality. I have not encountered any issues whatsoever with any of the equipment. The scale may seem a bit cheap, but it does the job, you just have to know how to calibrate it. The same goes for the powder measure. Once you learn how to dial it in, you will be throwing precise powder loads like it is nothing.

    All you need besides this kit to reload your own ammunition are the following items:

    Loading Blocks
    Case Tumbler
    Tumbler Media
    Media Sifter
    Caliber/Case Specific Dies & Shellholders

    And Lymann makes these quality items as well.

    I have been loading my own .223 and .308 for two months and I will guarantee you this: nothing is more satisfying on the range when your own handloads smoke Hornady Match Ammo or Federal Gold Medal Match.

    I highly recommend this kit for the entry level reloader.

    Have had this press for almost a year now. I'm pretty new to reloading. But it has everything you need. The only negative. Keep the adjustable screw at the rear of the press snug. Just to keep the cartridge overall length consistent. Just to take up the play in the turret head

    I have been reloading for years using and RCBS single stage press. I wanted something different, something that would save me time and increase my productive. After doing some research and reading a lot of different reviews I decided to go with this kit. The reason I gave it four stars, was because of the scales. The scales are made from plastic. However I already had a couple of sets of the RCBS scales so this wasn't that big of deal for me. I also purchase the RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 Powder Scale and Dispenser Combo 110 Volt. I read the reviews on the Lyman and Lea scales and ended up buying the RCBS and love it. With this combo I feel like I have a great set up now that will last me for years to come. The RCBS ChargeMaster saves a lot of time when reloading and I'm get good accuracy from it. The T-Mag Press saves me time because I can set it up to load two different calibers at the same time.
